The Lyn Community Assocation was started in 1985, the year after Lyn’s Bicentennial which was celebrated in 1984. The Association is responsible for several improvements and beautification projects in the village of Lyn, including:
Stone walls at the Cemetery
Street Signs
4 Welcome to Lyn signs
The Mill stone and wall at the Ball Park
Citizen of the Year event
Gift Baskets for Needy Families
Funds for the Annual Summer Community Festival.
The Association is hoping to continue this great work of making Lyn a great place to live.
The Lyn Community Association is in need of new members and the next generation to continue working on your great home.
Meetings will be held once enough there is enough interest and volunteers.
Some future project ideas would be:
Ice Rink at the Ball diamond or on the creek.
