Thank you so much for this!

This is my husbands direct relatives!

Is there any photographs/drawings etc from the family? Or any other connections we could explore?

Hi, Glad you enjoyed the story. The only things we have are old newspaper articles on the house. If these are of interest to you I can copy and send them to you. You might want to contact the Brockville Museum as I think they may have some more information on the house. Let me know about the newspaper articles, John

Thanks for your article. I am also a descendant of Alexander McLean through his son, John McLean (1775-1861). I am trying to trace Alexander to his birthdate and place in Scotland, and also the birthplace and date of his wife, Ann Lang, also in Scotland. I’m also looking for information about Alexander’s and Ann’s parents, and/or siblings. Would you, by any chance, have this information? Or, if not, would you have any suggestions of other researchers that might have that information? Thanks so much!

I’ve been researching John McLean who married Cynthia Shipman, who are my ancestors. I have some info I can share.

        Hi, J,
Would you be so kind to share the information about the McLeans that you mentioned? You can send it to my email, if that works better: Thanks!
