Judgeville – A Forgotten Hamlet in Kitley
Judgeville
Unfortunately this forgotten hamlet, remains a mystery. As of the fall of 2016 we have been unable to find any information on Judgeville. If anyone has any history, stories or photos of this old hamlet we would appreciate hearing from you. One of the earliest settlers in this hamlet was a man called Daniel Judge.

There were two brothers who homesteaded on Bellamy Lake Denis Judge and Daniel Judge,. Possibly from County Mayo Ireland. Daniel Judge married Mary White and they were parishioners at St Phillip Neri .
Catholic Church. We believe the Judge family arrived in Canada and Kitley around 1827 to 1834.
Daniel is my 3rd Great Grandfather. His son was John Henry Judge who bought Land in St. Clair County, Michigan near a town called Emmett Michigan.

I did reply to you on a separate email, I hope that answered your question. Unfortunately we have little to no information on Daniel Judge.
